GHOST STORY: THE CHILDREN’S HANDPRINTS
Location: Goodna Cemetery
Story:
Some say this is Queensland’s most haunted graveyard…
One of the creepiest stories of Goodna Cemetery is that the ghosts of little children leave their tiny handprints on cars parked there. Visitors at night used to (and still) put talcum powder on their car boots, roofs, or bonnets to see if the children would leave their mark. Children’s ghosts leaving handprints on cars parked at cemeteries is an urban legend common across the Western world.
On Saturday 6 April 2022, at the end of the Goodna Cemetery Haunted History Tour, Ghost Tour Guide Jo returned to her car and was shocked to discover a child’s handprint on rear panel of her vehicle. Jo was a very honest person and is adamant she did not fake this.

The Children’s Handprints story ocurred on our Goodna Cemetery Haunted History Tour which runs every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
