Surrounded by the eerie tombstones of Goodna Cemetery, one of Queensland’s most haunted graveyards, feed your curiosity for the after-life with real experts, real equipment, and real experiences.
This once off 2.5 hour guided historical tour with a special hands-on investigation event features stories including The Missing Graves, The Headless Angel, the Car Won’t Start, Ghosts of the Asylum and more.
PLUS work in smaller groups in a practical (hands-on) investigation guided by friendly investigators. Armed with devices custom made for ghost hunting, explore the presence of resident haunts, with particular focus on shadows and apparitions, unusual voices and sounds, and inexplicable temperature fluctuations.

– 1 hour historic ghost tour with experienced guide through this haunted site

ACCESSIBILITY

  • All walking tours require the ability to stand or be stationary during each story.
  • This tour is not suitable for those reliant on a walking aid – frame, stick, crutches.
  • This tour is not wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Paranormal Investigations are not suitable for anyone aged 17 years or younger (unless otherwise stated).

TOUR LOCATION

Meet at the General Goodna Cemetery Carpark (please note this is not the carpark adjacent to the crematorium – please keep following Stuart St up the hill approximately 100m).

Parking is available at the General Goodna Cemetery Carpark. Please refer to the map provided. 

Please note it is illegal to be in a cemetery between dusk and dawn each day, unless operating under a site licence like we do. While waiting for the tour to start, or if you arrive early, please DO NOT wait inside the cemetery, please wait outside the gates at the allocated meet location. The cemetery will also be locked up during the tours, therefore no parking is permitted inside the cemetery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I need to bring?
  • Each guest is required to bring their own torch. Torch apps on smart phones are suitable.
  • Clients must be wearing flat-soled enclosed shoes. Thongs, sandals and high heels will not be permitted on tour.
  • If there is rain, please bring an umbrella and or raincoat, and enjoy the tour.
Am I allowed to take photos or film on tour?

You are allowed to photograph whilst on tour. We do ask that you refrain whilst the guide is speaking to avoid distraction.

Filming is strictly not permitted.

What is your COVID vaccination and mask policy?
Do you accept Companion Cards?

Yes, we accept companion cards. Bookings must be made over the phone on 0401 666 441. The card will need to be presented to your guide on the night of the tour.

Is there a dress code? Can I wear a costume?

Horror costumes/ makeup/ masks are not permitted to be worn. Historic Australia reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone wearing a horror costume that is deemed inappropriate or distasteful.

Can i bring my own Ghost Hunting equipment?

No, you cannot. This includes but is not limited to: apps on mobile devices, Ouija boards, pendulums, video and still photography, psychic, medium and clairvoyant channelling of spirits.

All equipment will be provided by our team and Pariah Paranormal.

Does the weather affect my tour?

We believe the weather really adds to the atmosphere of a tour. If there is rain, please bring an umbrella and or raincoat, and enjoy the tour. Tours will only be cancelled if conditions become dangerous – we will notify you in these circumstances close to the tour time.

Are there toilets available on tour?

There are no toilet facilities available at site. Please use facilities elsewhere before joining us at this site.
